Why This Block Is Different

Most people want to grow mushrooms… but worry it’s complicated or easy to mess up.

We get it — that’s why we do the hard part for you.

These blocks are made using cultures we run in real commercial production, selected for aggressive growth, strong fruiting, and reliable results at home. Every block is packed fresh, fully colonized, and ready to perform — because we make them to fruit, not just ship.

Your Simple 3-Step Plan

1. Open

Cut the top of the bag, leaving a couple inches of plastic above the block.

2. Mist

Spray 3–6 mists, twice a day.
(If using tap water, letting it sit overnight helps chlorine off-gas.)

3. Watch & Harvest

In just a few days, you’ll see pins (tiny baby mushrooms) form — then they grow FAST.

Helpful Growing Tips (So You Succeed)
• Keep the block moist, not soaked
• If your home is dry, loosely tent it with a grocery bag to hold humidity
• Indirect light is perfect — kitchens, bathrooms, shady patios work great
• Room temperature is ideal
• Set it on a plate or tray to protect surfaces

Mushrooms breathe air like we do — uncovering, misting, and recovering helps provide fresh air exchange.

When to Harvest

Harvest when the caps are well-formed and still tender (before they dry out). For most oyster types, that’s when the cluster looks full and ready, but not over-mature.

After harvest, flip the block, cut a new slit, and go again. If it feels dry, soak it in water for a couple hours before starting the next flush.

When you’re finished, plant the block outside in a shady mulch bed, barely covering the top — you may even get bonus outdoor mushrooms when conditions are right.

Our Promise to You

If your block doesn’t fruit, we’ll personally coach you through the process or replace it.

No stress. No waste. Just success.
